Big Bang – For The World (Japanese Album)

Five guys stand solid as Big Bang.

Korea’s vocal, rap, and dance quintet are storming the J-pop music scene with TV spots and commercials. Consisting of Tae Young, Sung Ri, Dae Sung, T.O.P., and band leader G-Dragon, the group is set to make it big in the Land of the Rising Sun after landing their grand 2007 K-pop hit “Lies”. For the world consists of eight English songs inspired by hip-hop, dance, and soul elements, with major composition and song-writing contributions by G-Dragon. Big Bang promises to extend their fame to Japan and beyond in 2008.

G-Dragon, Tae Sung, Seung Ri, Dae Sung, and T.O.P return just in time to celebrate Big Bang’s 1st anniversary on the music scene. Having already release three singles and a full-length album, the group has now prepared its first mini album. Music lovers can look forward to Euro-style pop, R&B ballads, nostalgic melodies, and hip hop offerings from the boys. Principal track “Lies” (Track 2) is a house-style number written and composed by G-Dragon, while the touching titular track Always is written by 1TYM’s Teddy. T.O.P collaborates with Kim Ji Eun for his solo track “Pretend to be Unconcerned” (Track 4).
